In a week of car launches, Aston Martin has become the third to show their car to the world - except they have done so in a way that any other team is yet to.

In a dramatic laser filled car reveal, we have finally got our first glimpse of the AMR22.

The car, as seen from the images, is very similar to that of the team's 2021 challenger with just one subtle difference being noticed in the colour scheme.

On last years variation of the Aston Martin car, the AMR21 featured a striking, but subtle, lick of hot pink paint around the trim of the body which represented the sponsorship that they had with BWT.

However, that sponsorship has now ended - with Alpine reportedly now being sponsored by BWT - and the hot pink has now been replaced with a lime green colour.

The car reveal has also given us our best look at a 2022 car to date, as it appears that this is the model of car that they will run for the season - as opposed to just revealing their livery on a 2022 show car.

In the images, you can see a custom front wing design, wider bodywork and DRS can be seen on the rear wing. It is important to note that the car they have shown will not be the one which they take to battle in Bahrain in just show5 weeks time, but it is a car which will be similar to the one they take to the opening day of the season.

Hass F1 and Red Bull racing have also both revealed their 'cars', but it is believed that the cars that they presented are just Formula One show cars with team branding printed onto it.
