Constantine Hatzidakis has been cleared of any wrongdoing having been called out for allegedly elbowing Andy Robertson in the face.
During Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool, the half-time talk was filled with discussion over whether linesman Constantine Hatzidakis intentionally elbowed Liverpool defender Andy Robertson in the face.

The incident was investigated after the match and the Football Association cleared the linesman of any wrongdoing.
Hatzidakis will return to the pitch this weekend but in the Championship where he will officiate on Preston vs Blackburn.
The official will return to Premier League duty next week as a VAR official, where he will help with the relegation clash between Leicester and Leeds.
Hatzidakis is said to have apologised to Andy Robertson over a Zoom call, with the Scottish left-back accepting his explanation for what happened and the FA decided to close the investigation.
In a statement released by PMGOL, Hatzidakis said “I fully assisted the FA with their investigation and have discussed the matter directly with Andy Robertson during an open and positive conversation.
“It was certainly not my intention to make any contact with Andy as I pulled my arm away from him and for that, I have apologised.
“I look forward to returning to officiating matches.”
