Donny van de Beek is on course to join Everton on loan for the remainder of the season.

The deal still remains 'unofficial' but senior sources and top tier journalists have reported that the player is headed to Merseyside from Manchester.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Everton will pay the players full wage for the whole 6-months that he is at the club, as well as paying a loan fee to Manchester United.

Unlike many other loan deals, Everton do not have the option to purchase the player at the end of his spell in Merseyside as Manchester United feel as if he still has a role to play at Old Trafford.

It is reported that Everton only entered the pursuit yesterday, but the Blues were quick to complete the deal before the Monday transfer deadline. Donny van de Beek confirmed his decision to join Everton to Frank Lampard on the 30th January.

Donny van de Beek was being chased by the likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle, but the player preferred a move to Everton due to being close to his family and home in Cheshire. The player was also excited at the prospect of working under Frank Lampard.
