The FIA has made a major change to the Spanish Grand Prix layout

The FIA, Formula One and the Circuit de Catalunya have taken the decision to remove the 3rd sector chicane from the track’s layout.
After many years of fans begging for the removal of the chicane as it hinders potential overtakes, the governing bodies have finally listened and opted to follow the layout that is used by MotoGP.
Here is the new updated layout:
The new layout will increase the strength of DRS down the main straight, as well as encourage overtakes in a place which was previously very difficult.
